Intercept Releases Enhanced Design Reuse Solution in Pantheon Version 5.2

Next Generation Block Design Technology Solution Drives PCB, RF and Hybrid Design Flows to New Levels of Sophistication

Atlanta, GA -January, 2008- Intercept Technology, Inc., a leader in advanced PCB/Hybrid/RF electrical engineering applications, today announced a major new software release, Pantheon version 5.2. This new software version offers enhanced design reuse capabilities with a new generation of block design technology, providing endless opportunities to shorten design cycle times and reduced repetitive edits. The most notable enhancement to design reuse is Pantheon's ability to support any number of sub-blocks within main blocks. This allows reusable circuitry to be maintained separately throughout many levels of a design, as well as maintaining full synchronization with Mozaix, Intercept’s schematic capture solution.

"Version 5.2 of Pantheon represents a major milestone for Intercept," said Abby Monaco, Product Manager for Intercept. "Our design reuse model provides solutions for RF design by allowing specialized RF circuits to be maintained separately within mixed digital and RF designs, it allows complex portions of standard PCB designs to be stored in a library and reused at will, and it opens up possibilities for panelization of designs that were previously too large to handle in this manner."

Intercept's PCB/Hybrid/RF layout solution, Pantheon, is available to customers on Sun Solaris, Linux, and Windows platforms.  For more information on Intercept products, visit the Products area of our web site, contact Intercept by phone at 404.352.0111, or email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Intercept Technology Inc. is a privately held electronic systems design and software development corporation based in Atlanta, Georgia. Its flagship layout product, Pantheon, was initially introduced in the mid-'90s and quickly made Intercept a market leader in its ability to facilitate the completion of RF, Hybrid, Analog, Digital, and Mixed-Signal designs within a single application. Today, Intercept offers a complete design flow with Mozaix schematic capture, Indx library management, and a suite of third-party database translators and interfaces to provide a streamlined migration path from other vendors' environments. As an engineering company that is technology-driven and customer-oriented, Intercept strives to offer advanced design applications with the flexibility users need. To that end, all Intercept applications are ASCII-based and run native on all computing platforms, while customer software requests are incorporated in a rapid release cycle, providing users the benefit of leading-edge technology in real time.
