Mozaix Reaches New Levels of Flexibility with its Interactive Connection Model Atlanta, GA -January, 2008- Intercept Technology Inc., a leader in advanced PCB/Hybrid/RF electrical engineering applications, today announced a major new schematic software release, Mozaix version 3.1. This release follows on the heels of Intercept's Mozaix version 3.0 release, which has been steadily developed and enhanced since becoming a production level version in October of 2006. The 3.0 version offers engineers a new generation of schematic capture with greatly improved user flows and hundreds new features that speed design time, while the 3.1 version steps beyond the basics and attempts to tackle the tougher problems users face when trying to ensure the integrity of their schematic design. The new Mozaix 3.1 release boasts major enhancements in connectivity and net handling with many performance and usability improvements included. This version focuses on adding and merging nets, with facilitator dialogs to help users choose resulting net names when nets are connected together, disconnected, or a conflict is presented. This new, interactive form of adding and modifying nets in the schematic is intended to smooth and simplify the many headaches users encounter when trying to ensure that their connections are made properly. "Version 3.1 of Mozaix boosts the application beyond what its competitors can offer," said Abby Monaco, Product Manager for Intercept, "and places the challenge of design integrity on the shoulders of the software rather than the user. Intercept's software strives to simplify the most complex problems presented in the EDA industry." Intercept's schematic design application, Mozaix, is available to customers on Sun Solaris, Linux, and Windows platforms.
