Minimum hardware requirements for PCs (Windows and Linux operating systems): Pentium or equivalent, 350MHz processing speed or higher, 500MB RAM or higher, 64MB video. Note that these requirements are based on a medium sized design. For larger designs, a more powerful work station may be needed.

Intercept products are available on Win XP/Vista/7, 32 bit or 64 bit mode, and Linux Redhat Enterprise WS v5.0.

All Intercept software requires a license file, which is distributed separately from the software. Intercept applications are authorized with Intercept's license server, which requires the hardware's ethernet address to be present in the license file for verification of licenses. See the instructions below on how to locate an ethernet address. The license server and license setup is controlled through the Intercept AppManager, which is installed with Mozaix and Pantheon. Note that we do not utilize FlexLM for any licensing.

From the desktop, select Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt. Type ipconfig /all in the command prompt window and hit Enter. Find the Physical Address; this 12-character code is your ethernet address. For Example: Physical Address: 00-01-02-45-0F-C6

Open a Terminal window (bash shell) and type hostid. The result will be something like 80a22ce2. The ethernet address is the same as the hostid, with four leading zeros added.

Training on any Intercept software is available on-site or at an agreed upon off-site location for a maximum of ten students per instructor. Cost is dependent on the type of training, facilities required, availability of hardware, and travel expenses. Contact Intercept Sales for more information.

Intercept documents are available in PDF format for all products. For Mozaix and Pantheon, online help systems are available. These documentation systems are tied directly to the Help buttons in the software. Click any Help button in any dialog to automatically open the online help to the related page. Or, go to Help > online help in Mozaix or Pantheon and utilize the links in the document system to find what you are looking for.

All Intercept software is distributed via web site download. Licenses are distributed via email. File formats for PC/Windows are in .EXE format and will automatically install. Files for Sun Solaris and Linux are compressed tar files that should be uncompressed and untarred using gzip.
